1. Service Description

OodiVet offers an online veterinary consultation platform that provides pet owners and animal enthusiasts with access to professional veterinarians worldwide. Our platform facilitates consultations through WhatsApp or Telegram chats or Snap Chat or Email and/or Phone call, allowing users to receive personalized advice and support for their pets. For a one-time fee of $10 per consultation, users can obtain expert guidance on various aspects of pet health, behavior, and care.

The OodiVet platform specializes in handling consultations for a wide range of animals, including dangerous or exotic species. Our aim is to offer a convenient, affordable, and reliable solution for pet owners to access expert advice anytime, anywhere.

Our expert veterinarians, who are employees of OodiVet, provide trusted advice based on their professional expertise. While the platform can handle emergency questions, users are advised to follow the recommendations of our veterinarians, including visiting a professional vet clinic if deemed necessary by our experts.

OodiVet is committed to ensuring the quality and reliability of the advice provided by our veterinarians. We recommend and stand by the answers given by our experts. However, users are responsible for accurately presenting their pets’ information to receive the best possible advice.

2. Consultation Fee

Each consultation on the OodiVet Platform requires a one-time fee of $10. This fee covers the cost of connecting users with our professional veterinarians and providing personalized advice and support for their pets. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid before accessing the consultation services.

The $10 fee allows users to ask questions and receive guidance on various aspects of their pets’ health, behavior, and care. This includes advice on routine matters as well as more specialized concerns, such as issues related to dangerous or exotic species.

By paying the consultation fee, users acknowledge and agree to these Terms, including the understanding that the fee is solely for the consultation service provided through WhatsApp or Telegram chats or Snap Chat or Email and/or Phone call. OodiVet reserves the right to modify the consultation fee and will notify users of any changes prior to their next consultation.

3. Scope of Advice

The advice and support provided through the OodiVet Platform encompass various aspects of pet health, behavior, and care. Our expert veterinarians, who are employees of OodiVet, deliver personalized guidance based on the specific needs of your pets. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Health: Assessing general health concerns, advising on symptoms, and providing recommendations for preventative care and treatment options.
  • Behavior: Addressing behavioral issues, offering training tips, and suggesting solutions for improving your pet’s well-being.
  • Care: Advising on daily care routines, nutrition, grooming, and overall lifestyle recommendations for your pets.

OodiVet is equipped to handle consultations for a diverse range of animals, including dangerous or exotic species. While we strive to provide comprehensive advice, please note that our guidance should complement, not replace, in-person veterinary visits. In necessary cases, our doctors may advise visiting a professional vet clinic for further evaluation and treatment.

The information shared on the Platform is intended for general informational purposes and should not be considered a substitute for professional veterinary advice unless explicitly directed otherwise by our veterinarians.

4. Animal Coverage

The OodiVet Platform provides consultation services for a wide range of animals, including but not limited to domestic pets such as dogs and cats, as well as dangerous and exotic species. Our expert veterinarians are experienced and knowledgeable in handling diverse animal species and their unique needs.

Whether you have a common household pet or an exotic animal, our platform is equipped to offer tailored advice and support. Our veterinarians are trained to address the health, behavior, and care needs of various animals, ensuring that you receive comprehensive guidance regardless of the species.

While our platform is designed to handle a broad spectrum of animals, users are encouraged to provide detailed and accurate information about their pets to facilitate the best possible consultation. In cases where specialized or in-person evaluation is needed, our veterinarians may recommend visiting a professional vet clinic.

5. Emergency Situations

The OodiVet Platform is equipped to handle emergency questions related to your pets. Our expert veterinarians are available to provide timely advice and support in urgent situations. However, users must follow the specific recommendations provided by our veterinarians, including visiting a professional veterinary clinic if deemed necessary.

While our platform strives to offer comprehensive assistance, it is important to understand that certain emergencies may require immediate in-person evaluation and treatment. In such cases, our veterinarians will advise you accordingly to ensure the best possible care for your pet.

Please note that OodiVet assumes no responsibility for any delay in seeking professional veterinary care or the consequences of failing to follow the advice provided by our veterinarians.

6. User Responsibilities

As a user of the OodiVet Platform, you have certain responsibilities to ensure a smooth and effective consultation experience:

  • Accurate Information: Provide detailed and accurate information about your pet’s health, behavior, and any relevant history to enable our veterinarians to give the best possible advice.
  • Compliance with Advice: Follow the recommendations and advice provided by our expert veterinarians, including seeking in-person veterinary care if advised.
  • Appropriate Use: Use the platform for its intended purpose and refrain from any inappropriate or abusive behavior towards our veterinarians or other users.
  • Payment: Ensure timely payment of the consultation fee before accessing the services.
  • Communication: Engage respectfully and professionally with our veterinarians through the provided communication channels (WhatsApp, Telegram, Snap Chat, Email and Phone call).
  • Updates: Keep your contact information and account details up to date to facilitate communication and support.
  • Privacy and Confidentiality: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of the consultation. Do not share personal information or consultation details publicly without consent.

By adhering to these responsibilities, you help us maintain a high standard of service and ensure the best possible outcomes for your pets.

7. Data Privacy

We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users’ personal information. When using our online veterinary consultation platform, users may be required to provide certain personal information, including but not limited to, names, contact details, and pet-related information. We ensure that all personal information provided by users is kept confidential and secure. We do not sell, share, or distribute any personal information to third parties without the user’s explicit consent, except where required by law.

All consultations conducted via WhatsApp or Telegram chats or Snap Chat or Email and/or Phone call are encrypted to protect the privacy of communications. However, users should be aware that while we take all reasonable steps to safeguard their information, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure.

8. Liability

OodiVet provides veterinary consultation based on expert advice from our veterinarians. However, this advice is not a substitute for in-person veterinary care. Follow the recommendations of our veterinarians, including visiting a vet clinic if necessary.

OodiVet cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the use of our platform or reliance on the information provided. Our services are provided “as-is” and “as-available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or the absence of errors.

By using our platform, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless OodiVet and its representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses. Users must provide accurate information about their pets to receive the best advice.

9. Expert Verification

At OodiVet, we ensure that all veterinarians providing consultations on our platform are thoroughly vetted and verified. Our expert veterinarians are licensed professionals with extensive experience in various aspects of veterinary medicine. We carefully review their credentials and qualifications to ensure they meet our high standards of expertise.

10. Communication Channels

OodiVet provides consultations through various convenient communication channels to ensure users can easily access our services. Our platform supports consultations via WhatsApp, Telegram, Snap Chat, Email, and Phone calls. Users can choose their preferred method of communication for consultations, making it easy to receive expert advice and support for their pets at any time.

11. No Professional-Client Relationship

Using OodiVet’s online consultation platform does not establish a professional-client relationship between the user and the veterinarian providing the advice. The information and guidance offered by our veterinarians are intended for informational purposes only and should not be considered as a replacement for an in-person consultation with a licensed veterinarian.

While our experts strive to offer reliable and professional advice, users are responsible for seeking appropriate veterinary care for their pets. OodiVet cannot be held liable for any decisions made based on the information provided through our platform.

12. User Content

By using OodiVet’s platform, users may be able to upload or share content such as text, images, and other media (“User Content”). Users retain ownership of all User Content they submit to the platform. However, by submitting User Content, users grant OodiVet a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, reproduce, modify, and distribute the content for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

Users are responsible for ensuring that their User Content does not violate any laws, infringe on the rights of any third party, or contain harmful or inappropriate material. OodiVet reserves the right to review, remove, or refuse to display any User Content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate at our discretion.

By submitting User Content, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless OodiVet and its representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from their User Content or any breach of these terms.

13. Modifications to the Terms

OodiVet reserves the right to modify, update, or change these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any modifications to the Terms will be effective immediately upon posting on our platform. Users are encouraged to review the Terms periodically to stay informed about any changes.

By continuing to use our platform after any modifications to the Terms, users agree to be bound by the updated Terms. If users do not agree with any modifications, they should discontinue using our platform.

14. Refund Policy

At OodiVet, we strive to provide high-quality veterinary consultations. If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact our customer support within 7 days of the consultation to request a refund. We will review your request and determine if it qualifies for a refund based on our evaluation.

Refunds will not be issued for consultations where the user has not provided accurate or complete information about their pet, or for consultations that were not followed as recommended by our veterinarians. OodiVet reserves the right to refuse refunds at our discretion.

15. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms and the use of OodiVet’s platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is registered. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of our platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.

By using our platform, users agree to submit to the jurisdiction of these courts and waive any objections to the venue of any such proceedings.
